As a Claims Adjuster Trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the insurance industry while helping our customers through the claims process. Learn and understand the insurance industry: As a Claims Adjuster Trainee, it will be your responsibility to familiarize yourself with the insurance industry, including the different types of insurance, policies, and procedures. Assist customers with claims process: You will be responsible for helping customers through the claims process, including gathering information, assessing damages, and providing updates on the status of their claim. Develop strong problem-solving skills: In this role, you will encounter various challenges and obstacles, and it will be your responsibility to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to find solutions. Communicate effectively: You will need to have excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and other parties involved in the claims process. Provide exceptional customer service: As a representative of Progressive, it will be your responsibility to provide exceptional customer service and handle any customer inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate records: You will be responsible for accurately documenting all interactions and updates related to each claim. Complete training program: It will be your responsibility to actively participate in and successfully complete the company's training program for Claims Adjuster Trainees. Keep up with industry changes: As the insurance industry is constantly evolving, it will be your responsibility to stay updated on any changes in policies, procedures, or regulations. Meet performance targets: You will be responsible for meeting or exceeding performance targets set by the company, such as handling a certain number of claims per week or maintaining a high customer satisfaction rate. Collaborate with team members: As part of a team, it will be your responsibility to work collaboratively with other Claims Adjuster Trainees and colleagues to ensure efficient and effective claims processing.
