Position: Quality Manager

Location: Kulai, Johor

Working Hour: Monday - Friday | 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

Salary: Up to RM15,000

About the Company A well-established multinational manufacturing organization, specializing in high-precision interconnect and power distribution solutions for industries including data centers, AI infrastructure, electric vehicles (EV), and industrial equipment. Responsibilities

1. Quality Assurance & Production Excellence
  • Establish and maintain quality control standards for raw materials, in-process manufacturing, and final product
  • Manage customer quality requirements, including First Article Inspection (FAI) and structured validation processes
  • Lead root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, 5 Why) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Oversee calibration and maintenance of measurement and testing equipment
2. Integrated Management System (IMS)
  • Lead the implementation and certification of ISO 9001
  • Manage document control systems (policies, SOPs, work instructions)
  • Plan and lead internal audits and coordinate with external certification bodies
  • Facilitate Management Review Meetings (MRM) and report system performance
3. HSE Integration
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to integrate environmental and safety practices into operational processes
  • Ensure processes align with risk assessment and regulatory requirements
  • Support external audits and compliance reviews
4. Team Leadership
  • Build and develop a high-performing QA/QC team
  • Provide training to ensure alignment with quality standards and procedures
  • Set and monitor departmental KPIs and drive improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment
  • ISO Knowledge: Experience in implementing or maintaining ISO 9001; familiarity with integrated management systems is advantageous
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis, process control)
  • Communication: Able to communicate effectively in English; additional languages are an advantage for workplace communication
  • Work Style: Strong problem-solving skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to work in a new setup / growth environment
