The Role

As a Merchant Advisory Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between fintech innovation and business needs. You will oversee merchant relationships, offering strategic advice on cashless payment ecosystems to help businesses of all sizes achieve secure, effortless, and scalable payment processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with new merchants while nurturing existing portfolios to drive growth.
  • Strategic Advisory: Consult with clients on new, revised, or expanded payment solutions tailored to their specific business models.
  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for merchants, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through regular engagement and feedback management.
  • Performance Excellence: Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support company growth.
  • Solution Support: Provide comprehensive guidance to improve the merchant’s overall payment processing experience, troubleshooting issues and optimizing workflows.
  • Operational Agility: Assist with ad-hoc projects or assignments as directed by management to support the company’s evolving needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Candidate must possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in the fintech, banking, or merchant acquiring industry is highly preferred.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (to support a diverse merchant base).
  • Mobility: Must possess own transport and be willing to travel for client meetings and site visits.
  • Mindset: A high-energy, target-driven individual who can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Skills: Strong time-management abilities, a quick learner of new technologies, and a deep commitment to exceptional service.
