We expect an intern to contribute design iteration to ongoing project workstreams, with in-depth knowledge about the latest design trends and technologies.<br><br>In this role you will play a pivotal part in shaping the next generation of ESPN’s digital products and will shape how sports fans worldwide follow live games, consume stats and scores and engage with sports.<br><br>You don’t have to be a superfan, a jock, or a stats nerd, but you should be strongly motivated by a desire to explore the intersections of design, technology, community, and sports fandom.<br><br><strong>What You Will Do:<br><br><br></strong><ul><li>Contribute to the design of app and web experiences for consumer-facing products</li><li>Collaborate with a diverse set of partners</li><li>Work closely with teammates to produce design solutions using sketches, wireframes, and high-fidelity mock-ups.</li><li>Present design work for feedback.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Qualifications & Skills:<br><br><br></strong><ul><li>Have experience designing experiences and user flows</li><li>Understand user-centered design principles and best practices</li><li>Are a self-motivated, problem solver</li><li>Are hungry for innovation, eager to challenge the status quo</li><li>Have an interest in and aptitude for learning new technologies and design skills</li><li>Have a strong work ethic, are reliable, adaptable, and work well with others</li><li>Have knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Education:<br><br><br></strong><ul><li>Currently enrolled undergraduate student in an accredited college/university, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI, Design, Art, Human Interface, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Eligibility Requirements & Program Information: <br><br><br></strong><ul><li>Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.</li><li>Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program. </li><li>Be at least 18 years of age</li><li>Possess unrestricted work authorization <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Information:<br><br><br></strong><ul><li>Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship </li><li>Fully available from M-F, 40 hours each week for the entire program duration: May/June - August/September 2026 (12 weeks)</li><li>Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program </li><li>Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work <br><br><br></li></ul>The pay rate for this role in San Francisco, CA and Glendale, CA is $38 per hour.
