<strong>Overview Of The Company<br><br></strong>Fox TV Stations<br><br>FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. KTVU FOX 2 is seeking an Account Executive who is equal parts personable, detail oriented, and self-motivated with a desire to be part of the station’s best in class team! We have a diverse culture that believes in supporting, mentoring, and training our staff. We are searching for an experienced Account Executive who can maintain and grow existing accounts, while actively pursuing and growing new business. As part of our total compensation benefits package we offer comprehensive medical plans, three weeks’ vacation, 401k, and tuition reimbursement just to name a few. The compensation for this position consists of a base salary plus commission with a total combined target of $135,000 to $150,000.<br><br><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Develop a consistent stream of new business and manage an active sales pipeline in order to achieve monthly revenue targets. This position places a heavy emphasis on business development. </li><li>Utilize all of the stations offerings (FLX/OTT, KTVU/KTVU+ best in class News and syndicated programming, FOX Network, Fox Sports, market leading station website and streaming products) in order to create compelling multi-screen campaigns and sponsorships. </li><li>Maintain and grow existing client list by providing excellent customer service and collaborating with clients to create impactful campaigns. </li><li>Successfully sell KTVU’s year-round high profile sporting events including: 49er and NFL games, SF Giants, MLB All-Star Game, MLB, MLB Playoffs, World Series, College Football, Oakland Roots, the 2026 Men’s World Cup, and more! </li><li>Gain key insight on client goals and objectives in order to make presentation and recommendations to successfully achieve them with all of our offerings. </li><li>Responsible for selling sponsorships that may include promotions initiated by sales persons. </li><li>Utilize all available sales tools in order to educate clients on the broadcast landscape and develop value propositions to earn client’s business. </li><li>Manage and maintain campaigns to ensure all deliverables are met and provide superb after-sales support in order to develop long lasting partnerships. </li><li>Work closely with Sales Managers and Regional Digital Sales Manager in order to meet specific measurable sales targets. </li><li>Other duties assigned as deemed necessary and appropriate. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Minimum Requirements:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Media sales or other outside sales experience required. </li><li>A strong understanding of the Digital/OTT space preferred. </li><li>Ability to create, present, and sell through opportunities to clients and advertising agencies. </li><li>Experience with Wide Orbit, Wide Orbit Media Sales, and Kantar applications a plus. </li><li>Proficiency in MS Office programs including Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook. </li><li>Effective time management, communication, and problem-solving skills required. </li><li>Ability to work in a collaborative environment and utilize the stations resources to efficiently manage station and client demands. </li><li>Must possess a driver's license with a good driving record</li><li>High School diploma is required; 4-year College degree is preferred. <br><br></li></ul><em>We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
