About the position

Responsibilities

  • Deliver best-in-class performance across the balanced Scorecard
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment, adhere to 6S standards, perform behavioral safety observations, trains employees on ways to keep themselves and those around them safe and demonstrates the ability to stay calm and alert in emergency situations in order to lead others though protocols and procedures
  • Be able to pick, transport and load customer orders, and adjust if necessary, ensuring adherence to Keurig Dr Pepper and customer specs
  • Capable of safely and efficiently operating powered industrial trucks for transporting and loading trucks with finished products
  • Monitor daily schedule and interacts with scheduling and operations teams to ensure uninterrupted delivery to the customer
  • Capable of performing multiple activities within the business unit, including observing, monitoring, and adjusting the execution of warehousing, loading and shipping tasks to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform other duties as requested by leadership of the area and site
  • Lead and sustain TPM-based Production Environment
  • Support the site TPM journey and the various implementations
  • Perform standard work for Autonomous (AM) and Preventative (PM) maintenance activities on warehouse equipment including powered industrial trucks, and automatic guided vehicles (AGVs)
  • Actively participate in various Kaizen activities at the site and assist in line and business unit implementations of improvements identified during the events
  • Partner with maintenance on the execution of preventative maintenance, and actively participates in improvement activities on issues that cross team and functional boundaries
  • Engage in Business Unit and High Performing Team (HPT) model
  • Provide support for plant and business unit board meetings, identify trends in data and propose action steps where appropriate, positively adapts to the changing business environment
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively with others, complete all tasks in work area and contribute fair share of team's work, communicate status of work during shift transitions, demonstrate a willingness to help other team members, receive and provide constructive feedback, and display high level of cooperation across the site
  • Exhibit a positive demeanor and model engaging communication styles and behaviors, demonstrate self-awareness and take actions to continuously improve, does not engage in negative commentary, interact respectfully and professionally with supervisors and coworkers

Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a highly automated, fast-paced production environment with the ability to understand complex warehouse execution processes and systems
  • Mathematical aptitude to make distribution center and warehouse calculations and identify improvement opportunities
  • Computer and software skills (Microsoft Applications and SAP preferred)
  • Flexible, self-motivated team player with the ability to follow direction and work independently
  • Ability to spend significant time standing on the distribution center floor with some frequency of computer work
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 75 pounds frequently without assistance

Benefits

  • Pay starting at \$22.06 per hour
  • The employee will move to a higher rate of \$23.24 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary
  • Nights shift Differential Monday-Thursday: \$1, Friday-Sunday: \$2
  • Benefits eligible day one
