Unreal Engine Artist / AR Developer – Freelance Requirement

Hello,

I am looking for an experienced Unreal Engine Artist / Developer with expertise in real-time AR, virtual production, camera tracking, and interactive character control.

Project Overview

I have attached a reference video for context.

In the previous version, we created a 3D bull animation in Blender and rendered it as an alpha video, which was played along with a live camera feed during an event.

For the next phase, we want to evolve this into a fully interactive real-time experience where the bull can be controlled live during the show instead of relying only on pre-rendered animations.

Scope of Work The bull should be controllable in real time using a joystick, game controller, or keyboard inputs, including actions such as:

  • Walking
  • Running
  • Turning
  • Jumping
  • Charging
  • Idle animations
  • Audience interaction movements
  • Custom dynamic actions
In addition, we would like several pre-animated sequences that can be triggered instantly via keyboard shortcuts during the live event. AR / Virtual Production Requirement A live camera feed will be coming into the system through a capture card.

The objective is to place a 3D bull at a fixed position on the stage and control it in real time while compositing it into the live camera feed.

Critical Requirement

When the physical camera moves, pans, tilts, or changes position, the virtual bull must remain locked to the same real-world stage position and maintain accurate perspective, scale, and alignment.

The final output should function as a real-time AR / virtual production workflow.
