This includes identifying capability and technology gaps and directing investigation to Research flow when nearterm solutions do not exist.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Key Accountabilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Competitive SDV Value Strategy & Definition:</li><ul><li>Define and maintain NA SDV value proposition for near and long-term SDV competitiveness</li><li>Translate Future Competitiveness insights into SDV strategy assessments and recommendations.</li><li>Support SDV Strategy Report leader by interpreting corporate business and product strategy to SDV</li><li>Define critical information for how to compete in the future and feed to SDV Strategy Report any changing market needs.</li></ul><li>Future Digital Product Roadmap Creation:</li><ul><li>Define NA SDV roadmap proposal for overall ecosystem of architecture/hardware enablement aligned digital product proposal, with support from SDV Strategy Chief Engineer</li><li>Prioritize SDV value features based on customer impact, electrical architecture readiness, and business value.</li><li>Ensure roadmap alignment with Honda global strategies while optimizing NA market expectations</li></ul><li>Ideation Portfolio Management:</li><ul><li>Own the SDV Ideation Portfolio, defining the process for filtering, classifying, and maintaining the ideation backlog</li><li>Correlate the prioritization process with Global and Regional Honda stakeholders</li><li>Define evaluation criteria, prioritization framework, and success metrics for ideation outcomes</li><li>Serve as a strategic advisor on business value themes (such as XDR)</li><li>Propose POC (proof of concept) selection for internal demonstrations (such as Tech Day)</li></ul><li>Research & Technology Gap Definition:</li><ul><li>Identify cross-functional technology, capability, and know-how gaps required to achieve the SDV roadmap (which may include electrical E&E architecture, AD/ADAS technologies, infotainment hardware, etc.)</li><li>Direct these concepts into appropriate flow of the Research Portfolio, ensuring traceability from roadmap proposal to research completion</li><li>Influence cross-functional alignment across architecture, software, and feature development organizations to clarify future capability needs</li><li>Mentoring Research Chief in Research Portfolio execution and management</li></ul><li>Strategic Plan to Development Execution Transition:</li><ul><li>Lead the transition of approved SDV strategy and roadmap concepts to the Digital Product LPL for development and market execution</li><li>Ensure appropriate business approval, customer value validation, and strategic intent are confirmed prior to move to development backlog</li><li>Partner with Digital Product LPL to prioritize development roadmaps and application plans while maintaining strategic alignment<br></li></ul></ul><strong>Qualifications, Experience, And Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Minimum Educational Qualifications:</li><ul><li>A Bachelor’s level degree or diploma in the field of Engineering / Technology (preferably in a STEM field of study).</li></ul><li>Minimum Experience:</li><ul><li>At least 10 years of product development and/or strategy implementation experience</li><li>Prior experience with vehicle software-developed features</li><li>Demonstrated leadership of implementing a strategic vision to execution</li></ul><li>Other Job-Specific Skills</li><ul><li>Skilled at cross-functional leadership, building consensus, and collaborating strategic outcomes</li><li>Working knowledge of SDV, digital product, AD/ADAS, E&E architecture, and infotainment technologies.</li><li>Ability to visualize and forecast future strategy needs and prioritize conflicting requirements</li><li>Communication and report delivery to Executives and Chief Engineer<br></li></ul></ul><strong>Workstyle<br><br></strong><ul><li>This is an onsite job.
