We are looking for a motivated individual eager to contribute and learn. The Projects Technology Delivery Manager is the primary Enterprise Technology contact for Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) projects. The position is responsible for intake of project technology related requests to be solutioned and delivered by Zachry Enterprise Technology. Technology requests may be wide-ranging including but not limited to site connectivity setup, mobile device acquisition, application deployment, system integration, data orchestration, and dashboard development. They will work with project leadership and technology stakeholders to ensure transparency of request intake and solution delivery status throughout the project life cycle. The position will serve as a high-level role supporting technology needs across multiple projects and locations.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br><br><strong>What you will do as a Projects Technology Delivery Manager:</strong><br><br><ul><li>Facilitate technology delivery for medium to large-scale EPC projects to ensure project technology is delivered in accordance with scope, budget, and schedule defined in project plans.</li><li>Oversee project technology requests from inception to completion ensuring all work products are delivered</li><li>Prepare and communicate project technology plans and maintain transparency of delivery status throughout the project life cycle.</li><li>Ensure project technology scope and budget is defined, controlled and managed through changes</li><li>Coordinate activities to obtain appropriate approvals and signoffs for unplanned project work requests</li><li>Shephard relationships with operational and technical teams through collaboration and communication with internal and external project stakeholders.</li><li>Collaborate with IT, Engineering, Construction, Partners, Subcontractors, Vendors, and Owners to ensure technology requirements are defined, stakeholders are aligned, and solutions are delivered according to expectations.</li><li>Define, support, and recommend standards and work practices to enable and govern efficient project technology services collaboration, solution development, and delivery.</li><li>Initiate and maintain contact with internal and external clients for clarification, escalation, negotiation and resolution of critical issues.</li><li>Other duties, projects, and assignments as assigned.</li></ul><br><br><strong>Qualifications</strong><br><br>What you will need:<br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering Technology, Construction Science, Information Systems/Computer Science or similar; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree</li><li>A minimum of five (5) years' experience in multi-discipline projects within the EPC industry in business analysis, systems administration, project management or similar roles.</li><li>A strong understanding of EPC project workflow and lifecycle as well as corresponding project data lifecycles.</li><li>Working knowledge of project execution systems and integrations, advanced work packaging, and jobsite infrastructure as it relates to EPC projects.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, oral communication, presentation, and writing skills</li><li>Excellent organizational, problem-solving and project management skills with the ability to lead non-direct reports</li><li>Adept at interpreting complex data, information, and documents with attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Ability to work under pressure, have crucial conversations, and maintain positive working relationships</li><li>Ability to manage through a high level of ambiguity and multiple requests from a variety of sources.</li><li>Ability to occasionally work off-hours as required to support international partners and job sites as required.</li></ul><br>What is an added plus?<br><ul><li>Working knowledge of agile methodologies, scrum, or Azure DevOps techniques.</li><li>Project Management or Business Analyst certification</li><li>Experience with process improvement and facilitation</li><li>Working knowledge of software development techniques, methodologies, tools, and best practices</li></ul><br>What can you expect the physical demands to be?<br><br>Employee will be required to communicate in person or via telephone, email, or other digital communication; Visual acuity (corrected or uncorrected) must allow clear visibility from a distance of 20 inches or less; use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, multi limb coordination, oral expression, and comprehension. May be required to lift, carry, and move objects safely.<br><br>Moderate domestic and, potentially, some international travel required.<br><br>What will the work environment be like?<br><br>Will work in a contemporary office space with an open layout. Capable of operating in a fast-paced work environment. Our corporate campus includes an on-site café, fitness center, outdoor fitness facilities, and clinic with a certified nurse practitioner.
