Overview

Tactica Solutions, LLC is seeking an Integrated Logistics Specialist with demonstrated experience in materiel and systems integration under a Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) contract for the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Logistics & Engineering (G-4) at Redstone Arsenal, AL. This position requires full time, on site support in a traditional office environment, with occasional work conducted outdoors.

The candidate will collaborate closely with government and contractor personnel across multiple functional disciplines, offices, and leadership levels. The ideal applicant is a self starter who is highly motivated, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and possesses strong interpersonal skills.

Documentation and modernization related to equipment, Materiel Release, Type Classification, and related logistics activities and projects are essential.

Essential Duties

Provide subject matter expertise in all facets of DoD and Army Logistics.

Support cataloging of materiel and supplies.

Support Government leads in planning management and oversight of Materiel Release (MR), Type Classification (TC), and Fielding.

Review documentation related to operations and maintenance of systems and equipment.

Provide guidance, briefings, and planning for acceptance of materiel (hardware / software) and equipment.

Work with Government leads to obtain safety, suitability, and supportability documentation.

Ensure actions and efforts are in accordance with AR 70-1, AR 700-127, DA PAM 700-127, AR 770-3, and DA PAM 770-3.

Develop, coordinate, edit, and staff correspondence memorandums such as Memorandums for Record, Memorandums of Agreement or Understanding, etc. in accordance with AR 25-50.

Review documentation such as Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, Materiel Fielding Plan, Plan for Materiel Release, Demilitarization and Disposal Plan, Production Risk and Readiness Review, Basis of Issue Plan Feeder Data, Logistics Demonstration Reports, ECPs, MWOs, SOWs, CDRLs, etc.

Track progress towards milestone objectives.

Follow up on progression of action items and other reportable tasks from projects.

Assist in risk mitigation, identification, tracking, management, and resolution.

Utilize Microsoft TEAMS to hold meetings, file sharing, and communication.

Facilitate communication and collaboration among internal and external team members by serving as a liaison between stakeholders.

Develop, implement, and monitor a logistics support program for assigned systems to ensure support.

Responsible for planning logistics analysis and coordination for complex equipment systems. This work process requires consideration of the following elements for new systems from research and development through production to deployment.

Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years relevant logistics experience.

Program integration, project or logistics management experience.

Knowledge of Tactical Enterprise Logistics Systems (TELS).

Knowledge of Tactical, Short Range, High to Medium and Intermediate Air Defense Systems.

Knowledge of cataloging of materiel and equipment.

Materiel Release experience preferred.

Possess a Top Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain a TS Clearance

Proficiency using Microsoft Office Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Teams is required.

DAU Life Cycle Logistics Certification, preferred.

Must be a US citizen.

Valid Driver License.

Job Location: Huntsville, AL Physical RequirementsWork may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including, but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
