The Network Implementation Engineer - OSP Project Manager is responsible for overall implementation, deployment and technical delivery of Greenfield & Brownfield fiber deployments and leased IRUs into the Meta production environment. Activities will include project managing the day to day activity of network development projects in North America, managing partners/contractors against deliverables, identifying and mitigating project risks and developing and managing project budgets ensuring on-time delivery of network to the business. In this role, you will collaborate with Network Development, Network Planning, Edge Network Deployment, Legal, Finance and other internal stakeholders.<br><br>Network Implementation Engineer - OSP Project Manager Responsibilities:<br><br><ul><li>Project management of fiber construction projects across North America via direct and indirect management of partner vendors</li><li>Coordinate and manage build partners, engineering and construction firms, and associated project budgets mitigating risk for the project through pre-planning, innovative planning, and partnership</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to implement long-term infrastructure build plans, considering construction timelines, ROW feasibility, and budget needs</li><li>Support tracking and management of ROW and permit acquisition process in conjunction with an accelerated deployment schedule of design and construction</li><li>Collaborate with Sourcing & Net/Dev on new project opportunities, potential partner / vendor identification, buildability & high-level project budget</li><li>Receive new projects at the implementation stage via project kickoff document, including full end-to-end requirements in support of milestone project review</li><li>Drive quality assurance and quality control of project management system updates and reporting</li><li>Service delivery of Project deliverables to Meta cross-functional teams, including all end-to-end elements in support of MPR(s) as applicable</li><li>Development of fiber acceptance and project closeout packages in accordance with Meta standards</li><li>Technical delivery and acceptance from vendors of fiber specs, interpretation of OTDR traces, and project closeout packages</li><li>Work closely with finance to develop business plans, budgets, and forecasts<br><br></li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<br><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience</li><li>Project management expertise across large-scale projects</li><li>Experience negotiating with vendors, partners, or contractors to resolve project issues and reach agreements</li><li>Detail-oriented with experience managing multiple cross-functional tasks and projects</li><li>Understanding of key telco milestones for the delivery of dark fiber routes</li><li>Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, with experience using spreadsheet tools and/or programs<br><br></li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<br><br><ul><li>Telecom, outside and/or inside plant experience</li><li>Knowledge of capital budget management.
