We are searching for a Truck Driver to work in our Pet Segment, providing logistics, production, and maintenance support at our Sun Pet location in Charlotte, NC.

Other duties involving errands, picking up supplies, supporting maintenance and production crews are also typical. If you find your skills match the qualifications we are seeking below, we invite you to apply for this position!

Shift Details: Tuesday- Friday, AM start time (end of shift may vary).

Location: Charlotte, NC

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Loading individual customer orders on trucks in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Effectively interpret and understand the paperwork provided to assist in organizing the shipments.
  • Unload or deliver the orders intact, confirming box counts, etc. to air cargo or customer location.
  • Maintain a pleasant working relationship with our contacts.
  • Maintain trucks in clean, operational manner.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability and willingness to work with others.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Comfortable driving trucks as large as a 26’ box truck in urban conditions.
  • Maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Obtain a valid driver’s license.
  • DOT required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately.
  • Responsible, reliable, and dependable work habits.
  • Ability to problem solve and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

  • Ability to lift packages to 50 lbs. or more.
