Loader/Unloader (Cross Dock Consolidation Operations)

Location: Fontana
Pay: $17.50-$17.50hr

Job Summary
The Loader/Unloader will be responsible for supporting cross dock consolidation operations by loading, unloading, and palletizing freight by Purchase Order (PO #). This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and adherence to warehouse safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload containers efficiently.
  • Palletize freight by PO # and ensure freight is stacked securely.
  • Move freight using a manual pallet jack.
  • Stack boxes weighing approximately 5-40 lbs.
  • Maintain productivity with a target of 100 cartons per hour (CPH).
  • Perform general warehouse maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Follow all safety and compliance rules, including dress code and equipment restrictions.

Work Environment
  • Fast-paced, high-volume warehouse setting.
  • Hot environment - must be able to work safely and comfortably in these conditions.
  • Continuous physical activity, including lifting boxes for up to 10 hours daily.

Work Schedules
This position operates under alternate work schedules:
  • 4-Day/10-Hour Schedule:
    • Tuesday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
    • 3-Day/12-Hour Schedule:
      • Sunday, 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM
      • Monday - Tuesday, 4:30 PM - 5:30 AM

        Requirements
        • Ability to lift and move boxes (5-40 lbs) continuously.
        • Ability to work long shifts (10-12 hours).
        • Must follow all warehouse safety policies.
        • Reliable and punctual attendance.
        • Attention to detail and ability to meet production goals.
