Location:Modesto, CA Department: Warehouse Reports To: Warehouse SpecialistYour Role: This role is responsible for the research and reporting of DC service levels, finalization, and audit of purchase orders, as well as identifying and solving problems associated with receiving and shipping of product. Lift cases - cases weigh an average of 14 pounds, 35-60 pounds on the high endObtain required forklift certification during our in-house trainingCommunicate effectively with all internal departments (Sales, Replenishment, Operations, Accounting, Transportation, etc....) on all aspects of receiving and shipping product.Prepare and distribute associated paperwork along with entering data into the appropriate program.Prepare and package all of the UPS/FedEx Shipments as needed.Work with the Transportation Department to effectively schedule internal product transfers.Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.Research inventory discrepancies.
