We consider it our privilege to manufacture trusted nutritious products for our customers and consumers.<br><br><strong>Job Description And Responsibilities<br><br></strong>The incumbent is responsible to fill staffing needs to meet weekly and daily production, maintenance, quality, and logistics requirements. In addition, in collaboration with the Training Coordinator and production supervisors, they will participate in the planning, organization, and monitoring of training and qualifications for unionized staff.<br><br>The incumbent, in collaboration with the Human Resources department, is also responsible for closing the weekly timesheet process for unionized employees. They will also be the department's point of contact for daily and weekly timesheet management.<br><br>The incumbent will maintain professional contact with unionized staff and the management team.<br><br><strong>Specific Duties<br><br></strong><ul><li>Creation and management of the bi-weekly schedule for unionized employees, ensuring optimal coverage for each shift;</li><li>Processing, verifying, and closing all timesheets in a timely manner;</li><li>Understanding and application of all current collective agreements;</li><li>Creation and management of vacation schedules for all unionized and non-unionized employees;</li><li>Daily and weekly monitoring of the time and attendance system in ADP;</li><li>In collaboration with the Training Coordinator, monitoring the training plan and maintaining the skills matrix by position and shift, as well as recording and updating unionized employees' training files;</li><li>Managing HR-related documents: opening and modifying files, leave requests, vacation changes, etc.;</li><li>Providing adequate weekly availability for communications and contact with the various shifts;</li><li>Maintain effective and ongoing communication with supervisors, managers, employees, and union representatives;</li><li>Participate in the integration of new staff: monitor training, update files, coordinate required equipment (boots, uniforms, PPE, etc.);</li><li>Perform any other related tasks related to human resources activities. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Education<br><br></strong><ul><li>DEC in administration or human resources, or a related field<br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bilingual: French and English</li><li>Teamwork, and confidentiality and interpersonal skills of a human resources professional</li><li>Resourceful</li><li>Autonomous, working with minimal supervision</li><li>Very good command of Microsoft software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)</li><li>2 to 5 years of experience in a related position such as an HR administrative officer, scheduler, etc.</li><li>Payroll experience an asset<br><br></li></ul><strong>Nellson Benefits<br><br></strong><ul><li>Direct and free parking</li><li>Newly renovated cafeteria with a food bar</li><li>Flexible personal days and vacation days (details to be discussed with candidates during the interview process)</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Access to a retirement plan program with employer contribution</li><li>Access to a group insurance program</li><li>6 days of personal leave, 12 statutory holidays, and 3 weeks of vacation per year<br><br></li></ul><strong>Position Details<br><br></strong><ul><li>40 hours per week</li><li>Flexible and variable schedule: 7:30 am - 4:00pm.
