Education/Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum
Essential Functions Knowledge and Competencies
Ability to stand for extended periods of time (8-10 hours or more) frequent bending and twisting
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Math skills (decimals fractions)
Must be able to read and interpret blue prints and engineering drawings
Must understand the proper use and limitations of standard inspection measuring and test equipment
Good interpersonal communication skills
Must have vision correctable to 20/20
Ability to distinguish color
Basic computer skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must be available for all shifts
Responsibility/Authority
Alerting immediate supervisor of any problems in process
Handling parts to prevent damage
Authorized to stop the process upon the detection of a nonconformance or safety issue
Maintaining a neat and orderly work area
Maintaining machines and tooling
Producing quality product and meeting production standards
Completing in-process inspection documentation per established requirements
Training employees as needed
Supervisory Responsibilities
None
