ProFlow Pumping Solutions is seeking a motivated and hands-on CNC Machinist/Technician to join our growing team. This entry-level opportunity is perfect for individuals looking to start a career in CNC machining while gaining valuable on-the-job training in a dynamic shop environment. You’ll support operations focused on the repair of pumps and mechanical seals, working alongside experienced machinists to develop your technical skillset.

Key Responsibilites

  • Assist with setup and operation of CNC and manual machines (mills, lathes, etc.)
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished parts
  • Perform basic measurements and quality checks on parts
  • Support routine machine maintenance, including fluid top-offs and tool cleaning
  • Clean and organize workstations, tools, and shop areas
  • Mop shop floors and contribute to overall facility cleanliness and safety
  • Monitor machine cycles and report issues to senior machinists or supervisors
  • Follow shop safety protocols and company procedures
  • Participate in on-the-job training and support other shop functions as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Enrolled in or completed a machining or technical training program (preferred)
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems or machining processes
  • Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to read simple schematics or drawings is a plus
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Proficiency in English for safety and operational communication
  • Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs. and working on your feet for extended periods.
  • Forklift certification a plus.

  • Basic CNC or manual machining knowledge
  • Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, and measuring instruments
  • Interest in learning G-code and machine programming
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and safety awareness
  • Basic computer literacy for machine interface and job tracking
  • Strong focus on quality, detail, and reliability
  • Bilingual fluency is a plus
