Work Now Staffing is looking to hire Warehouse Janitors for our York, PA client.

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Shifts: 1st Shift - 10:00am - 7:30pm

Job Description:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in our facility. This position is responsible for general cleaning duties throughout the warehouse, including restrooms. All cleaning supplies will be provided by the company. The Janitor will also be responsible for end-of-shift cleanup duties and maintaining the janitorial supply area in good condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors
  • Refill restroom supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.)
  • Sweep warehouse floors
  • Break down boxes for recycling
  • Empty all trash cans and replace liners; dispose of waste in proper bins
  • Keep janitorial storage area neat, organized, and clean at all times
  • Remove all trash and empty boxes at the end of each shift
  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles and light switches
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs
  • Assist with special cleaning tasks or additional duties as requested
Qualifications:
  • Prior janitorial or warehouse cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Maintains a professional and respectful demeanor in the workplace
Additional Notes:
  • All cleaning supplies will be provided
  • Maintain a clean and organized supply area and ensure all trash and boxes are removed at the end of their shift
  • Occasional requests for additional tasks may arise based on company needs
