<p><b>Position Overview:</b></p><p>Our client is seeking a talented Senior Scrum Master / Project Manager to lead SAP Security initiatives, focusing on General Access and Firefighter ID management. This contract role requires managing end-to-end delivery through Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies, prioritizing effective planning, backlog management, and cross-team collaboration.</p><p>This position is ideal for proactive individuals with strong facilitation, communication, and analytical skills to oversee risks, dependencies, budgets, and continuous improvement processes. Previous experience in SAP projects and a solid understanding of security or compliance domains will be essential for aligning stakeholders and achieving timely results.</p><p><i>Note: Applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis. Our W2 consultants enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.</i></p><p><b>Compensation:</b> $60.00 to $65.00/hr. W2</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Work alongside Information Security and SAP teams to define and manage the backlog, priorities, dependencies, timelines, and delivery strategies.</li><li>Establish comprehensive project plans addressing schedule, cost, scope, quality, risks, issues, assumptions, and interdependencies.</li><li>Coordinate activities across matrixed teams utilizing Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.</li><li>Identify inter-workstream dependencies, pinpoint critical path activities, and communicate essential tasks and milestones effectively.</li><li>Proactively identify variances from plans and collaborate with project teams to develop mitigation or corrective actions.</li><li>Oversee deliverables against approved scope, schedules, and budgets, escalating concerns as necessary.</li><li>Document, communicate, and manage risks while ensuring stakeholder alignment on responses.</li><li>Engage stakeholders consistently to support decision-making and timely issue resolution.</li><li>Tailor communications to meet audience needs, synthesizing information into concise, actionable updates.</li><li>Maintain accurate project artifacts including status reports, RAID logs, schedules, financial forecasts, and communication plans.</li><li>Record and monitor actuals and forecasts against budget, addressing financial risks as required.</li><li>Recommend process adjustments when necessary and secure stakeholder consensus.</li><li>Utilize best practices, technical insights, and organizational awareness to mitigate risks and enhance project outcomes.</li><li>Mentor other team members on project management methodologies, practices, and tools, while striving for delivery improvements.</li></ul><p><b>Experience Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Minimum of seven years in IT, with substantial experience in technology project management.</li><li>Prior experience managing SAP projects with a firm understanding of technology, integrations, and technical requirements.</li><li>Experience supporting security, compliance, or identity and access management initiatives.</li><li>Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.</li><li>Solid understanding of Waterfall values, processes, and governance.</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of Agile principles, ceremonies, and delivery practices.</li><li>Able to manage complex projects involving cross-functional dependencies.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Clarity, Jira, or similar tools.</li><li>Capable of influencing, facilitating decision-making, managing conflict, and driving alignment while considering diverse perspectives.</li><li>Highly adaptable to changes in priorities, ambiguity, and evolving requirements.</li><li>Effective situational awareness with the ability to listen, probe, and assert appropriately.</li><li>Skilled in communicating complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>Dedicated to continuous improvement, collaboration, accountability, and achieving high-quality outcomes.</li><li>Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or similarly regulated industries is preferred.</li><li>Experience with Jira or similar Agile lifecycle tools is preferred.</li><li>Preferred certifications: PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or related agile certification.</li></ul><p><b>Education Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.</li><li>PMP certification preferred.</li><li>Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification preferred.</li><li>PMI-ACP certification preferred.</li></ul><p><b>About Eliassen Group:</b></p><p>Eliassen Group is a strategic consulting firm committed to helping organizations achieve their goals through technology, business advisory, and life sciences solutions.
