Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically skilled Machine Operator/Packager to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating packaging machinery, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining high-quality production output. Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor packaging machinery, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Follow FDA regulations, CGMP guidelines, and safety protocols to maintain compliance during all operations.
  • Assemble packaging components and prepare products for shipment according to specifications.
  • Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to perform minor repairs or adjustments on machinery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to warehouse standards.
  • Assist with inventory management and proper storage of finished goods using forklift or other warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Document production data accurately and report any issues to supervisors promptly.

Experience

  • Prior experience in manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations, CGMP standards, and safety procedures is highly desirable.
  • Mechanical knowledge including the use of hand tools and basic troubleshooting skills is beneficial.
  • Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus.
  • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience involving mechanical systems or automation is advantageous. This role requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards to ensure efficient production operations while maintaining product quality.
