Manufacturing Excellence Manager – Iberia (Spain & Portugal)

We are partnering with a leading international industrial organisation to appoint a Manufacturing Excellence Manager with regional responsibility across Iberia (Spain & Portugal).

This is a high-impact role focused on driving Lean transformation, operational performance, and continuous improvement across multiple manufacturing sites.

The Role

You will be responsible for leading Manufacturing Excellence initiatives across the region, working closely with plant leadership teams to improve performance across key operational metrics.

This role combines hands-on Lean implementation with strategic oversight, requiring someone who can both drive change on the shopfloor and influence at a leadership level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deploy Lean / Operational Excellence strategy across multiple sites in Iberia
  • Drive improvements in OEE, quality, lead time, and on-time delivery (OTD)
  • Conduct plant diagnostics and implement structured improvement roadmaps
  • Facilitate Kaizen workshops and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Implement and enhance KPI frameworks and performance tracking systems
  • Coach and develop site leadership and operational teams in Lean methodologies
  • Embed sustainable practices including standard work, TPM, and process controls
  • Act as a key partner to regional leadership, influencing operational strategy and performance'
Your Profile
  • Proven experience in Manufacturing Excellence / Operational Excellence / Lean leadership roles
  • Strong background in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred)
  • Demonstrated success in improving operational performance within manufacturing environments
  • Hands-on experience with Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, OEE, TPM, and CI frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder management and change management capability
  • Experience working across multiple sites or regions is highly desirable
Language & Location
  • Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese (essential)
  • Based in Spain
  • Willingness to travel across Iberia
