Garantizar que las instalaciones operen sin contratiempos contribuyendo al rendimiento óptimo de los servicios. Gestionar inspecciones periódicas de las instalaciones y equipos para detectar posibles fallos o averías. Realizar el mantenimiento preventivo de las instalaciones y equipos para evitar averías.

Guardar y custodiar los libros de mantenimiento, manual de instrucciones, libro de visitas establecido en la legislación vigente o los que en un futuro puedan establecerse; Anotar las operaciones que se realicen en las instalaciones y revisar las que ejecute personal de firmas ajenas al centro. Realizar todas las funciones que tengan señaladas los oficiales de los servicios técnicos, responsabilizarse directamente de los trabajos efectuados y de su distribución, de la realización y cumplimiento de las órdenes que le dé la empresa, de recibir los partes de averías de los/las respectivos/as responsables de sección. Vigilar que el personal a su cargo (si aplica) cumpla con regularidad su actividad profesional.
