Summary:
YA is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented IT Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and assistance to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of systems, hardware, and software. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of IT systems, and the ability to communicate effectively with users of varying technical expertise.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Tech Support ticketing system to ensure timely resolution of service requests while upholding exceptional standards of customer service and user satisfaction
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of user accounts and permissions
  • Document and track issues, resolutions, and work performed in a ticketing system
  • Deliver user training and support to promote adherence to IT policies, enhance technical proficiency, and encourage best practices in system usage and security
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to address complex issues and improve overall IT service delivery
  • Monitor and research emerging technologies and industry developments to ensure IT strategies and solutions remain current
  • Proactively identify opportunities for optimization and improvement across IT operations, demonstrating initiative and a self-driven approach to problem-solving
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to improve service delivery and support processes
  • Complete quality work on time, managing competing priorities and cross-functional projects
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems. iPad OS is a plus.
  • Familiarity with network troubleshooting and basic network concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
  • Experience managing Microsoft 365 cloud services (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, etc.)
  • A self-starter and eager to learn.
Salary Range:
$65,000–$75,000 annually
This is a salaried non exempt, overtime eligible position. Employees in this role are paid overtime at 1.5× the regular rate of pay for all hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
