Supply Chain Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Architect with expertise in the banking domain and proficiency in Ariba to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain processes within the banking sector and extensive experience in implementing Ariba solutions to optimize procurement and sourcing operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Architectural Planning : Develop comprehensive supply chain architecture strategies aligned with the organization's business goals and objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions that leverage Ariba's capabilities effectively.
  • Ariba Implementation and Integration : Lead the implementation of Ariba solutions within the banking environment, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes. Configure Ariba modules to meet specific business needs and drive process efficiency.
  • Process Optimization : Analyze current supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to streamline procurement, sourcing, and vendor management workflows, leveraging Ariba functionalities to achieve operational excellence.
  • Vendor Management : Oversee vendor relationships and ensure compliance with contractual agreements and service level agreements (SLAs). Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate vendor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Risk Management and Compliance : Mitigate supply chain risks by implementing robust compliance measures and monitoring mechanisms. Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure adherence to relevant standards and guidelines.
  • Training and Support : Provide training and support to end-users on Ariba solutions and best practices. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and mentor team members to enhance their understanding of supply chain processes and Ariba functionalities.
  • Continuous Improvement : Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in supply chain management and procurement. Evaluate new tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Architect within the banking domain, with a strong focus on procurement and sourcing processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ariba solutions, including Ariba Procurement, Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contract Management, and Ariba Supplier Management.
  • Experience leading end-to-end Ariba implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Certification in Ariba solutions (e.g., Ariba Procurement Professional, Ariba Supplier Management Professional) preferred.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices is a plus.
