<p>Community Work Incentives Coordinator (CWIC) – Full Time – Remote (PA)</p><p>AHEDD, is seeking a full time <strong>Community Work Incentives Coordinator (CWIC) </strong>to join our Team. Established in 1977, AHEDD is a private, non-profit organization with a mission is to serve the community as a catalyst in the employment and development of people with disabilities.</p><p>The CWIC position supports Social Security beneficiaries with disabilities by providing individualized information about work incentives under a cooperative agreement with the Social Security Administration (SSA).</p><p><strong>CWIC Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide work incentive counseling and assistance to beneficiaries</li><li>Facilitate referrals to other programs and services as needed</li><li>Participate in follow-up and quality assurance activities</li><li>Serve as a liaison to agency customers including beneficiaries & support teams, public and private agencies, sponsors, and interested third parties</li><li>Maintain and compile documentation to support and justify intervention</li><li>Utilize supervision and instruction and demonstrate appropriate and effective use of organizational and community resources in response to program needs</li><li>Complete CWIC certification training through Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) within required timeframe</li><li>Complete continuing education requirements each year</li><li>Coordinate and participate in community education about issues relevant to employment specific to SSA and work incentives, including marketing and promotional activities</li><li>Conduct referral outreach with appropriate community agencies, and other public relations activities</li><li>Promote work incentives to public and private providers, associations and other group.</li></ul><p><strong>CWIC Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with preference to candidate with a degree in vocational rehabilitation, public administration, social sciences, or finance</li><li>Strong preference to candidate that has already achieved CWIC certification from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU)</li><li>Three years relevant experience in disability services or insurance environment and an understanding of personal finance</li><li>Critical thinking skills to interpret and analyze information</li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Excellent communication and problem-solving skills</li><li>Computer literacy with ability to learn and use a database</li><li>Ability to work independently</li><li>Must live in Pennsylvania</li></ul><p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><ul><li>AHEDD recognizes our workforce as our single greatest asset and is essential to achieving our mission.</li><li>This full-time position has a base salary of $41,558.40.
