POSITION OBJECTIVE:Responsible for providing support to warehouse and procurement personnel in all functions related to the receipt, verification and recording of raw materials and products delivered to the site. Maintaining records on incoming and outgoing shipments involving verifying and recording merchandise or material as well as transporting said goods to the appropriate inventory location in the warehouse and verifying the quantity stored. This individual is also responsible for verifying and updating inventory discrepancies as they arise.Schedule:Crew C Wed 12:00PM-6:30PM; Thur-Sat 6:00AM-6:30PMESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Record all inbound and outbound shipping data, productivity, the previous shift's data and all other data into inventory planning system.Prepare all necessary documentation for the Production Leaders and/or Operation Leaders including work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders to route materials appropriately.Print all shipping or production labels as required.Examine all incoming shipments and compare with the manifest, invoice, or order to verify accuracy. Report discrepancies as necessary.Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies as needed.Communicate to Warehouse Leadership any damages, shortages, or non-conforming materials.Communicate with carriers to arrange shipments while comparing rates when possible.Compute or document data such as space, shipping, storage, or other calculations as needed.Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the warehouse and inventory systems through proper quality control and cycle counts to ensure total compliance of materials with the physical location and documented count.Responsible for ensuring a smooth transition pre-shift and post-shift production with inventory being brought to the line by warehouse associates and put away the same. This individual will be responsible for handing over / receiving a change in the position, getting to know the status of tasks (performed and to be performed).Will prepare all documentation such as inventory logs, warehouse management reports, noted discrepancies, transport complaints and any other documentation required by Warehouse, Production Planner or Site Leaders. Proposing solutions for the optimization of work in the position.This individual will assist with all scheduled or ad hoc cycle counts and inventories and will investigate any discrepancies to root cause and determine a method to ensure a better process.Weighing, estimating, counting, unused production material.
