What Your Impact Is • Strengthen EHS compliance and risk management programs for corporate and industrial clients • Translate regulatory requirements into practical, scalable solutions • Influence EHS strategy through hands‑on project delivery and trusted client partnership • Contribute to ERM’s growing Sustainable Operations and EHS consulting capabilities across the Mid‑South and beyond What You’ll Bring Required • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, environmental science, safety, business administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) • 2+ years of relevant industry and/or consulting experience in EHS management, regulatory compliance, or sustainability programs • Demonstrated experience maintaining and implementing corporate EHS management systems or compliance standards • Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and analytical skills, including experience preparing technical reports • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team • Willingness to travel within the United States (up to 50%) • Driver's License Required This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area. • Willingness to work at client sites locally 50–75% of the time • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. Preferred • Professional certification such as CSP, PE, or similar credential • Consulting experience supporting multi‑facility or enterprise‑wide EHS programs • Experience developing client relationships that lead to repeat business and long‑term partnerships Key Responsibilities • Support the development, implementation, and improvement of EHS Management Systems, compliance assessments, and audits • Perform EHS compliance audits and manage corrective actions to ensure regulatory compliance • Develop and implement environmental management programs, permits, and procedures (air quality, hazardous waste, spill prevention, stormwater, and wastewater) • Provide on‑site EHS compliance support at client facilities • Manage and deliver multiple projects while maintaining high quality standards • Design and support corporate EHS strategies that align with client goals and operational realities • Build and strengthen client relationships that contribute to repeat business and team growth • Collaborate with ERM’s global technical network to share best practices and solve complex, multidisciplinary challenges • Contribute to expanding ERM’s EHS and Sustainable Operations consulting business For the Consultant, EHS Generalist position, the anticipated annual base pay is $82,300–$101,235 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible). We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, parental leave, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, AD&D insurance, 401(k) or RRSP/DPSP, and other applicable benefits to eligible employees.
