Our mission from day one has been to set the highest standards of quality, timeliness, and client service in the practice of radiology.</p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">JOB SUMMARY</span></p> <p>Vision’s Radiology Assistants provide administrative support for the Company’s diagnostic radiology clinical staff, clients, and technical support team.</p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="color: rgb(35, 111, 161)"><em><span style="font-weight: bold">*Please Note: This is a Remote, Night-Shift role, including Weekends and Holiday shifts. This remote position can be performed anywhere within the United States. A high-bandwidth, stable, and reliable internet connection is required. </span></em></span></p> <p><span style="color: rgb(35, 111, 161)"><em><br></em></span></p> <p><em>Part-Time Flex position (10-20 hours per week, plus coverage as needed)</em></p> <p><br></p> <p><em>This part-time role is designed for individuals seeking a part-time position with the opportunity to earn additional hours each month. This role will receive 10-20 hours of scheduled shift work, with the possibility of additional hours to pick up coverage shifts or when additional capacity is needed. </em></p> <p><br><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></p> <ul> <li>Accept safety and quality of patient care, treatment, and services as a responsibility and priority</li> <li>Responsible for answering phone calls from hospitals during peak hours</li> <li>Assist with resolving any client questions/concerns that do not require a radiologist</li> <li>Notify radiologists or the appropriate Vision staff member (if applicable) with client questions to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner</li> <li>Re-fax and send HL7 (i.e., studies that a client is unable to locate)</li> <li>Partner with IT as needed to help troubleshoot any exams that are not coming through</li> <li>Minor troubleshooting with our clients</li> <li>Reach out to the appropriate contact at the hospital to gather any information that may have been left out of the information sent over to Vision</li> <li>Inform the Radiologists of high-priority studies (stroke, AI stat, ROB, ICH), change exam priority, and monitor to ensure they are read as soon as possible</li> <li>Inform Radiologist of follow-up study that belongs to them</li> <li>Assign and remove prior comparison studies on the list that were sent for comparison</li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:</span></p> <ul> <li>Ability to work evening/night shifts required<br></li> <li>Minimum 1 year of Medical/Healthcare experience is required</li> <li>Previous Technologist, Radiology Assistant, or imaging experience required</li> <li>Prior work experience in an administrative or customer service role preferred</li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Other skills and knowledge:</span></p> <ul> <li>Strong written and verbal communication</li> <li>Strong customer focus with excellent customer service</li> <li>Strong ability to multitask due to periods of high-volume workload on any given day</li> <li>Excellent time management skills</li> <li>Ability to act independently and make decisions that achieve optimal results</li> <li>Proficient computer skills</li> <li>Team-oriented with the ability to work with all levels of management</li> <li>Ability to work efficiently in a remote environment</li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">COMPANY BENEFITS:</span></p> <ul> <li>401(k) Program</li> <li>Employee Assistance Program</li> <li>Employee Discount Programs</li> <li>Variety of additional company perk programs <em>(Health & Wellness, Learning & Development, etc.)</em></li> </ul>
