<p><strong>JOB PURPOSE:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Assist in material handling activities at the corporate distribution warehouse. Performs assembly and sub-assembly operations to produce repair kits for the various technologies of pipe rehabilitation.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Builds sub-assemblies from raw materials according to shop orders.</li><li>Takes sub-assemblies and assembles with remaining parts to create completed repair kit.</li><li>Packages and labels completed repair kit.</li><li>Places completed repair kit on pallet which is transferred to finished goods.</li><li>Responsible for working at different work stations as production needs require.</li><li>Unload truck deliveries and place parts on shelves in material handling inventory.</li><li>Perform shipping duties such as wrapping/banding skids and loading trailers; count and record pallets.</li><li>Work within strict time constraints to fill full- or partial-truckload shipments to Miller Pipeline warehouses and customers.</li><li>Pull inventory, pack shipping containers or boxes, and prepare for shipment, e.g., use automatic and manual packaging machines, scales, and printing devices to calculate costs, apply labels, etc.</li><li>Receive UPS and FedEx shipments; deliver to appropriate person or areas within the corporate office.</li><li>Process small package shipments from the corporate office.</li><li>Track orders and document work.</li><li>Drive company vehicle to pick up mail from the post office.</li><li>Assist in keeping the material handling and surrounding grounds clean and orderly, e.g., trash pickup, sweeping.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Education and Certifications</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Required</strong>:<strong> </strong>High school diploma or equivalent. Current and valid driver’s license. </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Required</strong>:<strong> </strong>1+ year using forklift and pallet jacks safely and effectively.</li><li><strong>Preferred</strong>:<strong> </strong>3+ years related experience.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Functional / Technical Competency Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Required</strong>: Strong communication skills. Dexterity and attention to detail. Impeccable material organization skills. Great team player.</li><li><strong>Preferred</strong>:<strong> </strong>Able to be forklift certified.
