We are looking to add a Leasing Agent with our team at Davidson\'s Landing Apartments, located in Kansas City, KS. To lease apartments while maintaining a strong customer service/satisfaction philosophy. To work with and assist the Residential Manager in the general administration of the property and perform related leasing, operational, administrative, and bookkeeping functions. Courteous and helpful behavior to residents and potential residents is essential. While the following information should be considered a comprehensive description of this position, it should also be noted that some responsibilities and duties might not be specifically addressed. <br><br><strong>Knowledge, Abilities and Other Qualities</strong> <br><ul><li>The ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a variety of practical situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that May occasionally call for minor deviations.</li><li>The ability to think rationally beyond a specific set of instructions</li><li>The capability to work at a fast pace and with multiple tasks, perform duties while under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner, interact/communicate with other site employees, residents, visitors, and the public in a professional and pleasant manner</li><li>Legible penmanship and accurate typing skills</li><li>The ability to correctly deal with lease documents, fill out paperwork, and keep accurate records</li><li>The ability to work with figures and make bank deposits</li><li>The ability to compute rental amounts, prorates, discounts, percentages, and basic math computations</li><li>The capability to operate fax/copy machine, vacuum, telephone, typewriter, calculator, and to be computer literate or willing to be trained</li><li>Must have good customer service skills and be able to resolve resident, prospect, and vendor problems</li></ul><br><strong>Experience Training and Education</strong> <br><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalency preferred.</li><li>Prior apartment leasing and/or sales experience preferred</li><li>Must have a valid state driver\'s license and valid auto liability insurance.</li><li>Must have reliable transportation</li><li>Must have a phone where you can be reached</li></ul><br><br>Work schedules and hours may vary.
