Responsibilities
As the Director of Finance, your key responsibilities will include:
- Executive Leadership & Strategy: Serve as an active member of the executive committee and act as a strategic business partner to drive the company’s expansion and development.
- Financial Modeling & Sales Operations: Review financial models and oversee sales management finance operations.
- Project Profitability: Perform deep-dive analyses of financial performance on a per-project basis and evaluate operational profitability.
- Financial Oversight & Accounting Support: Supervise financial results and provide high-level support and guidance to the accounting team.
- Team Development: Mentor, train, and develop the finance and accounting team.
- Audit & Tax Governance: Proactively manage external audit processes and coordinate complex corporate tax files.
- Treasury & Capital Management: Optimize cash flow and strategically manage financing and capital to support corporate growth.
- Tech Leadership: Act as the technological lead to champion continuous improvement and financial system optimization.

Qualifications
For this Director of Finance role, we are seeking an exceptional professional with the following qualifications:
- Designation: CPA accounting designation (or equivalent) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance leadership.
- Industry Expertise: Experience with project-based accounting and complex revenue recognition principles is a major asset.
- Language Skills: Operating primarily in a French-speaking environment, professional English proficiency is required to effectively support divisions in Ontario and engage with international third parties.
