Expert Technical Writer & Designer for B2B Engineering White Paper(Structural/Hardware)

Other Jobs To Apply

About Us:

We are an innovative hardware engineering company specializing in structural reinforcement systems for fencing and perimeter security. We are launching a patented, heavy-duty repair system in the US market and need a highly authoritative B2B White Paper to establish our technology as the new "Class-A Industry Standard."

What We Have:

We have a comprehensive English draft (approx. 2,000 - 3,000 words) that outlines the complete engineering logic, competitive analysis, and structural mechanics (using FEA simulation data).

Note: The current draft was translated and structured with the help of AI. While the engineering logic and technical arguments are 100% accurate and locked in, the tone currently feels a bit "robotic" and lacks the natural flow of a native US engineering bulletin.

What We Need You To Do:

This is a hybrid role requiring both Technical Copyediting and Professional Formatting (Desktop Publishing).

1. Copyediting & "Humanizing" (De-AI):

Rewrite and polish the draft to completely remove any AI-generated footprints.

Elevate the tone to sound highly authoritative, objective, and data-driven—similar to technical bulletins published by industry leaders like Simpson Strong-Tie or Hilti.

Ensure structural engineering terminology (e.g., torsional rigidity, yield strength, moment of inertia, plastic deformation) is used correctly and naturally.

2. Professional Formatting & Design (PDF Output):

Design a visually striking, corporate-level B2B White Paper layout (PDF).

Incorporate our provided 3D renders and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) heatmaps.

Create a clean, high-tech "Procurement Checklist / Comparison Matrix" at the end of the document.

Ensure the final PDF looks like a legitimate, official engineering standard document (generous white space, clean typography, highly professional).

Required Skills:

Native English Speaker (US preferred).

Proven experience in B2B Technical Writing (Construction, Hardware, or Engineering preferred).

Expertise in Adobe InDesign or similar professional formatting software.

Ability to translate complex mechanical concepts into persuasive B2B marketing copy.

To Apply, Please Provide:

A brief introduction of your experience with technical writing.

At least ONE PDF sample of a white paper or technical report you have written AND designed.

Your estimated turnaround time and fixed-price quote for this project.
