Executive Social Media Specialist - Canada - (REMOTE)

Other Jobs To Apply

We are one of the first work-from-anywhere companies with 2,000+ team members utilizing our virtual office called eXp World. This role is work-from-anywhere in Canada.
Who is eXp?
Doing the audacious is part of eXp Realty’s DNA. We are a company that rewards creative minds who can offer bold solutions, where opinions matter, anything is possible and the outcome can be revolutionary. As a global full-service real estate brokerage utilizing a 3-D, fully immersive, cloud office environment, offering 24/7 access to collaborative tools & training, eXp has broken the traditional mold of real estate. We are doing big things.
What you will do:
We are seeking a high-energy, video-first Social Media Producer to own and elevate the personal brands of two C-Suite executives at eXp Realty. This is a high-trust role for a creative strategist who can switch between "Director mode" on set and "Manager mode" behind the scenes. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of content—from the initial content calendar to the final post—on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
How you will make an impact:
  • Strategic Planning & Organization
    • Content Calendar Management: Maintain a rolling 30-day content calendar. You are responsible for ensuring there is never a "silent day" on their profiles.
    • Batch Planning: Organize monthly "content days" where you script and prep dozens of videos in advance to maximize the executives' limited time.
    • Workflow Ownership: Manage the approval process, ensuring the executives have seen and signed off on high-stakes posts while you handle the day-to-day execution.
  • Content Production & Trend-Jacking
    • Short-Form Video Expert: Concept, film, and edit high-quality Reels and video posts. You must be an expert in pacing, trending audio, and mobile-first typography.
    • Directing the C-Suite: You must be comfortable leading the production. You will tell the executives how to deliver lines, where to look, and how to keep the energy high.
    • Platform Specificity: Tailor content for the "Big Three":
      • Instagram: Aesthetic Reels and high-engagement Stories.
      • LinkedIn: Professional thought leadership and industry insights.
      • Facebook: Community-focused storytelling and real estate/technology updates.
  • Account Stewardship & Posting
    • End-to-End Execution: You are responsible for the actual posting. This requires extreme attention to detail (no typos, correct tags, perfect timing).
    • High-Trust Access: You will have direct access to executive accounts. Reliability and discretion are non-negotiable.
    • Community Management: Monitor and respond to comments in the executive’s authentic voice, fostering relationships with the eXp community.
  • Travel & On-Site Coverage
    • Mobile Production: Potential for travel to conferences and major events to capture "behind-the-scenes" footage and turn it around into polished content within hours.
How you will make an impact:
  • Highly Reliable: You never miss a post or a deadline. You treat the executives’ digital reputation as your own.
  • Assertive Creator: You aren’t intimidated by a C-Suite title; you can give constructive feedback to leaders to get the best shot.
  • Video Pro: Expert-level skills in CapCut, InShot, or Premiere, and a master of smartphone cinematography.
  • System-Oriented: You love a good spreadsheet or project management tool to keep the content pipeline moving.
How you will grab our attention:
  • Proven experience managing social accounts for yourself, professionals or brands.
  • A portfolio of video work (Reels/TikToks) that shows an understanding of current trends.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours during major industry events.
If you think you’d make a great match for this position but don’t meet all the requirements, we would still encourage you to apply!
