Essential Job FunctionsMowing and string trimmer operations in ROW and airport and other areas within the city.Perform street maintenance duties.Repairs pot holes and road defects.Assist with clean up, maintenance and barricade tasks for special events and natural disasters.Assist with drainage work. (Checking grade elevations, culvert installations)Assist with installations and remove parking bumpers and parking lot striping.Assist with traffic sign installation and removal and cleaning.ROW trash debris/litter collection.Assist with construction projects/concrete forming.IMPORTANT JOB FUNCTIONS:Following directions of on-site lead person. Haul construction materials. Load, spread and remove materials (gravel) via equipment and hand. Bike rack and barricade placement and removal. Assist as needed with labor and equipment in other departments. ROW mowing.
