Job Summary

As an Associate Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for providing IT support to ensure the security and functionality of our network infrastructure. This includes managing and maintaining server farms, firewalls, and other critical systems. You will work closely with our Organization Security Group to design and implement security solutions that meet the needs of our business and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and support the infrastructure that underpins Delta's applications, clients, partners, and merchant connectivity
  • Provide IT support for inner, partner, seller, and outside connectivity to Delta and occupant applications across multiple critical server farm foundations
  • Manage and maintain server farms, firewalls, and other critical systems
  • Collaborate with Delta's business divisions to ensure firewall policies and access control guidelines are met
  • Provide on-call support for critical facilities and system components
  • Suggest and implement departmental policies, procedures, and standards
  • Ensure compliance with all governing corporate policies and procedures
  • Manage projects related to server farm and remote communication room standards, capital upgrades, and improvements

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, and security protocols
  • Experience managing and maintaining server infrastructure on-premises and in the cloud
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze and resolve issues related to managed security apparatus and its integration with other systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience with cloud networking and security standards
  • Knowledge of security logs and event analysis
  • Familiarity with vendor relationship management
  • Experience with IT service management frameworks
