We are looking for a dedicated Collections Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Tustin, California. This role is Hybrid, Monday and Friday from home! In this role, you will play a key part in managing payment processes, ensuring accurate billing, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial health of a growing organization in the real estate and property industry.


Responsibilities:

• Make daily collection calls to clients to follow up on outstanding payments.

• Negotiate and establish payment arrangements with customers to resolve overdue accounts.

• Accurately post payments to the appropriate accounts and maintain detailed financial records.

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely and meticulous manner.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address payment issues and improve collection processes.

• Monitor account statuses and provide regular updates on collection activities.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements during collection efforts.

• Maintain a high level of customer service while handling sensitive financial matters.

• Utilize collection management tools and systems effectively to streamline operations.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or a related field.
• Proficiency in billing functions and cash handling processes.
• Strong knowledge of B2B and commercial collection practices.
• Familiarity with consumer collections and credit management.
