Anime Recap Script Writer Needed - Youtube

Other Jobs To Apply

Are you an absolute anime nerd who loves storytelling, sharp humor, and knows exactly how to keep a YouTube audience hooked? If you binge-watch anime and have a knack for writing engaging, fast-paced commentary, we want you on our team!

We are looking for a talented, long-term Anime Recap Scriptwriter to craft high-quality scripts for our growing YouTube channel.

What We Are Looking For:

Deep Anime Knowledge: You should genuinely know and love anime. You understand the tropes, the characters, and the memes.

The "Anime Recap" Style: You must be familiar with the structure, pacing, and comedic timing of top-tier channels like Anigoon and similar creators. We don’t want a boring, dry summary – we want an entertaining story told with wit, sarcasm, and high energy.

Mastery of Retention: You know how to write gripping intros, smooth transitions, and clever cliffhangers that keep the viewer watching until the very last second.

Fluent English: The scripts must be written in flawless, natural-sounding English with great comedic timing for a voiceover artist.

Project Details & Scope:

Script Length: Long-form content. Each script needs to cover 50 to 60 minutes of voiceover material (approx. 7,500 – 9,000 words depending on pacing).

Volume: Currently 1 script per week (4 scripts per month). As the channel scales, the workload and your earnings will increase.

Workflow: We will provide the anime title/arc, and you will deliver a fully polished, ready-to-record script.

Requirements to Apply:

Portfolio/Examples: Please attach examples of anime recap scripts you have written in the past.

The Test: Be ready to write a short, paid trial script (3-5 minutes) to prove you can match our channel’s style, tone, and humor.

If you’re ready to get paid for watching anime and writing funny scripts, hit apply and tell us about your favorite anime and why you're the perfect fit for this role!
