The Web SDK team coordinates the very well known Zendesk Web Widget. The Web Widget exists today on over 100,000+ websites from all around the world and enables our customers to provide relevant, in-context support to their end-users. We are now in the process of building out an entirely new messaging experience based on top of our existing foundations which will allow our end-users to take their conversations with them, switching between different devices and different social channels as needed. What you’ll be doing
  • Assisting in shaping the technical direction and architecture of our product, learning from experienced team members, and contributing your ideas for innovative solutions.
  • Collaborating with various teams on joint projects, and actively participating in project tasks.
  • Engaging in code reviews, learning from feedback, and seeking guidance from more experienced developers to improve your skills.
  • Participating in research and analysis on emerging technologies, industry trends, and user needs, providing valuable insights for future feature development.
What you bring to the role
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and some experience with frontend libraries and frameworks, with a basic understanding of React.
  • A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies, coupled with problem-solving skills to tackle challenges.
  • Good collaboration skills, allowing you to work effectively with product designers, product managers, and engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling you to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • An open mindset and willingness to be flexible in response to changing priorities and challenges.
Nice to have:
  • Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and/or other web frameworks would be beneficial, though not mandatory.
  • Exposure to Typescript in React applications is a plus.
Tech Stack
  • The Embeddable Web Widget team spends most of their time in a JavaScript environment.
  • We write predominantly React and Redux code, and plan to invest heavily in Typescript later this year.
  • We maintain a number of modern front-end applications, using build tools like Webpack.
The Poland annualized base salary range for this position is zł164,000.00-zł246,000.00. Please note that while the salary range represents the minimum and maximum base salary rate for this position, the actual compensation offered will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives that will be communicated during the offer stage.
Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.
