UniTek Global Services is seeking an Assistant Claim Administrator to support our Auto and Property Claims operations by assisting with claim intake, coverage verification, documentation, customer communications, and coordination with adjusters and vendors. This role ensures claims are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up new auto and property claims; validate First Notice of Loss (FNOL) information and policy coverages.
  • Maintain organized, current claim files and update claims systems (Zoho, Corp Svcs portal
  • Obtain statements from insureds, claimants, witnesses, and vendors; request and track estimates, photos, and reports.
  • Coordinate inspections for appraisals; assist adjusters with documentation.
  • Prepare damage summaries.
  • Ensure all communications and documentation meet company standards.
  • Serve as a point of contact for insureds/claimants regarding claim status and next steps.
  • Draft correspondence (letters, emails)
  • Submit pay requests on approved invoices, assess back charges/credits as appropriate.
  • File claims as needed with appropriate provider for property damages when subcontractor funds are no longer available.
  • Maintain dashboards and activity logs; schedule meetings as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Project Coordinators/Managers) and external partners (body shops, subcontractors).

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Texas adjuster license not required for assistant roles; ability/willingness to obtain is a plus.
  • Auto and Property claims experience a plus (assistant/coordinator level).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and written/verbal communication.
  • Experience supporting fault assessment, negligence, and subrogation workflows, a plus.
  • Prior exposure to settlement negotiations support and property damage documentation a plus.
  • Demonstrates foundational claims knowledge.
  • Understanding of insurance principles.
  • Focus on operational efficiency and service.

Pay Range:

$24.00 to $31.50 per hour, based upon geography, skills, and experience.

This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and state laws.

Bonus: Eligible for performance incentive opportunities of up to 2% of salary, based on company and individual goals and performance.
