Marketplace Operations Intern (Amazon) — Summer Position

Other Jobs To Apply

Description Help our Halloween products win on Amazon  Want a real-world role where your work shows up on one of the biggest shopping sites in the world? Our Marketplaces team keeps thousands of FUN.com products accurate, searchable, compliant, and ready for peak season. As a Marketplace Operations Intern (Amazon), you’ll help protect our Amazon account health, fix issues that block sales, and improve how our products appear to customers. This is a great fit if you like organized task lists, investigative problem-solving, Excel, and using AI tools to work smarter.   Why FUN.com? We take the work seriously — but not ourselves. We live our values: Focus on the Positive, Be Humble, Embrace Nerdy Goofy Fun, and Never Be Complacent. You’ll work alongside people who know a lot about the Halloween business and will teach you how marketplace operations really works. What you’ll do (day-to-day) You’ll support either our Domestic or International Marketplaces team — in both cases, most work is within Amazon-related workflows. Amazon Compliance Support (high priority) Review compliance requests from Amazon and identify what’s needed to respond. Source required documentation (ex: product photos, test reports, children’s product certificates) and help submit/attach them correctly. Track progress in internal trackers, follow defined steps, and escalate when something doesn’t match expected requirements. Listing Quality + Visibility Audits Perform manual “customer view” checks on Amazon product detail pages (PDPs): confirm the product is represented correctly, visible in search where expected, and positioned to convert. Audit behind-the-scenes listing fields to ensure our internal system matches what Amazon has (identify gaps/opportunities and log them). Error Resolution / Case Support Help resolve lower-complexity errors (so full-time specialists can focus on the hardest problems). Assist with drafting appeal language or opening support cases for listings with issues (under supervision). AI-Assisted Listing Improvements Use AI tools to help generate and improve listing content (titles, bullets, attributes, clarity) and to speed up repetitive tasks — while following our guidelines and review process. Excel + Admin Support Work in Excel daily: filtering, sorting, prioritizing lists, updating trackers, and maintaining clean task logs. Other duties as assigned (scorecards, audits, basic reporting support). What you’ll learn How Amazon marketplace operations work (compliance, listing health, troubleshooting). How to follow an SOP, manage task queues, and document outcomes clearly. Practical Excel skills used in real e-commerce operations. How to use AI responsibly to speed up work and improve quality. What success looks like (first few weeks) You can work through a task list independently, ask smart questions, and log results cleanly. You catch mismatches and issues before they become big problems. You help the team move faster by clearing the “important but time-consuming” work. Wage:  $16.00/Hour Requirements You’ll do well in this role if you… Required High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive steps accurately Comfortable working in Excel (filter/sort, basic formulas; you’ll use it constantly) Able to stay focused and organized while switching between multiple platforms/workflows Strong written communication (clear notes, concise updates) and collaboration skills Familiarity with and enthusiasm for using AI tools to work smarter Nice-to-have (not required) Interest in e-commerce, digital marketing, operations, or data Any experience with Amazon as a shopper/seller, or product content work Comfortable troubleshooting (“why is this wrong?” and “what changed?” energy)
