Role Snapshot

This role hosts events in the following Central Florida areas: Clermont, Leesburg, Orlando, Winter Park, Eustis, Oviedo and Davenport.

Love welcoming people and keeping a good vibe? As a Part-Time Event Host, you’ll show up and lead pre-planned meetups and light wellness socials (coffee chats, craft nights, beginner-friendly pickleball, walks, chair-friendly movement, etc.). You won’t plan events—that’s handled by our team. Your job is to lead the event, support check-in, coordinate the attendee list with staff before each event, and upload a few photos/videos after. Most shifts are evenings/weekends, both indoors and outdoors.

What You’ll Do (No Planning)

  • Host pre-scheduled events: welcome guests, set the tone, lead simple icebreakers, keep things on track
  • Coordinate attendee list before each event with staff (RSVPs, waitlist confirmations, reminders)
  • Support check-in and waivers; answer basic “where/when/what to bring” questions
  • Encourage friendly participation (new-member intros, light group activities)
  • Capture and upload quick photos/videos to our social channels or shared folder the same day
  • Provide short attendance notes/feedback after each event
  • Comfortable hosting indoors & outdoors (cafés, studios, parks, pavilions)

You Are

  • A warm, confident people-person who helps strangers feel at home
  • Reliable and professional; you show up early and prepared
  • Calm, upbeat mic-leader energy (can guide a group without being pushy)
  • Tech-savvy with a smartphone (texts, GPS, QR codes, quick photo/video uploads)
  • Comfortable working Thu–Sun evenings/weekends (with some flexibility)
  • Able to lift/carry ~20–25 lbs for light setup (signs, name tags, water station)
  • Have reliable transportation; willing to serve multiple nearby counties (mileage policy per company guidelines)

Nice to Have (Preferred, Not Required)

  • Experience hosting meetups, tours, hospitality, fitness/wellness, or community programs
  • Basic first aid/CPR

Schedule & Hours

  • Part-time, up to 20 hours/week
  • Heaviest needs: Thu–Sun, primarily evenings (some daytime events)
  • You’ll receive your schedule in advance; events are pre-planned by our team

Pay & Perks

  • Hourly pay for on-site hosting plus paid pre-event coordination time
  • Attendance/member-goal event bonuses
  • Training, scripts, and hosting playbooks provided
  • Fun, social work that makes a real difference for women in your community
