The Digital Adoption and Customer Success (DACS) organization, part of Cat Digital, plays a critical role in enabling long-term value realization from Caterpillar’s growing portfolio of digital solutions. DACS is focused on driving meaningful adoption, sustained engagement, and measurable business impact across the global dealer network and customer base. The team is seeking a Senior Digital Engagement Consultant to lead adoption and engagement efforts for Caterpillar’s condition monitoring digital solutions, including products such as Cat Foresight and Cat Inspect. These solutions provide advanced equipment health insights, predictive analytics, and streamlined capabilities that enable proactive maintenance, improve machine availability and much more. The Senior Digital Engagement Consultant role is a hybrid of strategist, analyst, marketer, and relationship builder, responsible for translating product capabilities into measurable business impact and scaling adoption globally. This position works in close partnership between digital product teams and regional teams; acting as a bridge to accelerate adoption and engagement with our Caterpillar dealers. At its core, the role is focused on turning digital innovation into real-world impact- helping our dealers and internal partners fully adopt and realize the value of our condition monitoring products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Adoption Strategy & Execution: Develop, manage, and execute end-to-end engagement strategies to accelerate product adoption (tied to product releases and regional priorities). Identify adoption barriers and design targeted interventions, along with responsibility of ensuring regional teams are integrated into the engagement plans. Provide strategic guidance on digital capability requirements, to drive adoption, engagement and deliver the best overall customer experience with our digital products.
  • Drive Insights & Data-Informed Decisions: Analyze product usage and engagement trends, plus gather dealer and regional team feedback to make data-informed decisions and drive adoption through engagement strategies. Identify gaps in adoption efforts and lead retention projects (in coordination with multiple teams) to drive authentic adoption. Leverage multiple reporting insights to develop plan and continually refine strategies.
  • Design and Execute Engagement strategies & Marketing Activations: Create targeted messaging and campaigns to promote product value, dealer action and drive engagement. Capture and scale best practices and success stories to drive broader organizational impact. Curate a dealer engaged community to foster trust and authentic adoption.
  • Build Partnerships & Scale Impact: Build strong relationships with regional teams, dealers and product partners. Act as a connector across product, marketing, and field regional teams. Coordinate with multiple internal teams to help drive a unified engagement strategy and experience for our dealers and internal partners.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of effective measurement techniques and ability to measure the quality and quantity of work effort for the purpose of improvement.
  • Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
  • Knowledge of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience and expertise in promoting and/or driving engagement of digital products (condition monitoring is a plus) to users/audiences
  • Experience supporting and driving adoption around fleet management, condition monitoring or predictive maintenance software is a plus
  • Experience in working with Field teams or Dealers.
  • Technical marketing background and secure understanding of campaign building, customer journeys and an omnichannel approach
