The Problems You’ll Solve

We’re looking for a thoughtful, hands-on HR Generalist to help support and scale Rebuy’s People Ops function. In this role, you’ll help create smooth, people-first experiences across the employee lifecycle while keeping our systems, processes, and programs organized, compliant, and scalable. You’ll partner closely with leaders and employees across the business to support day-to-day HR operations, employee experience initiatives, and core People programs that help our teams do their best work.

Employee Experience

  • Own and support onboarding and offboarding processes for all Rebots.

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions, workplace concerns, and People Ops support.

  • Help coordinate and administer performance review cycles, engagement initiatives, and feedback programs.

  • Support employee lifecycle processes including promotions, transfers, leaves, and employee changes.

People Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Partner closely with the Director, People Operations to execute People programs and initiatives across the business.

  • Support compensation and benefits administration, audits, and benchmarking projects.

  • Assist with employee relations matters, documentation, and policy interpretation.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Finance, and Operations to ensure smooth employee processes and experiences.

HR Operations, Compliance & Systems

  • Help maintain and communicate people policies that are compliant, equitable, and aligned with company values.

  • Manage and maintain HR systems (HRIS, payroll, benefits, ATS) with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, documentation, and employee self-service resources.

  • Support compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local employment laws.

  • Assist with payroll coordination, benefits administration, reporting, and employee data management across the U.S., Canada, and EMEA.

  • Conduct regular audits and maintain accurate employee records across all systems.

Who You Are

The Hard Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 4–7 years of progressive HR / People Ops experience, ideally within a fast-paced startup or tech environment.

  • Strong understanding of HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and employment law fundamentals across the U.S. and Canada.

  • Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and performance management processes.

  • Familiarity with EOR platforms and supporting international employees and contractors.

  • Comfortable working in HR systems such as BambooHR, Ashby, Pulley, Employee Navigator, or similar platforms.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

  • Excellent judgment and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with care.

The Soft Skills:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; you can juggle multiple priorities without letting things slip.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, approachable style.

  • Empathetic, thoughtful, and people-first in how you support employees and managers.

  • Resourceful and proactive; you’re comfortable figuring things out and improving processes as you go.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, fully remote environment with a high level of ownership.

It’s a bonus if you’ve supported a fully remote workforce or have experience in SaaS or eCommerce environments!

Who You’ll Meet With

Now let’s get into who you’ll meet during our interview process! After you submit your application and it’s been reviewed by our team, we will reach out to you inviting you to meet with us. From there, you can expect an interview process similar to this:

  • Brief introduction call with Jack Chang, VP of Talent Acquisition to learn more about you, your experience, and role requirements.

  • An interview with the hiring manager to go over your background in a little more detail.

  • A final round with one or both of the co-founders.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $70,000 - 80,000 USD annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter and hiring manager can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
