General Description

The duties of the Assistant Cashier include the receipting and balancing of daily cash receipts. This position reviews and interprets student account information, including tuition and fee structures, scholarships, and financial aid awards. Additionally, the Assistant Cashier will communicate with students regarding Business Office procedures and account details in compliance with FERPA regulations. This position is also responsible for completing special assignments as assigned by the Grant Manager.
Requirements

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of full-time related work experience. Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office Products is required. This position requires the ability to interact in a professional manner with a diverse population, including students, parents, and the community. A criminal background check is also required.
