<p>Job Title: Sales Analyst – Barnes & Noble and Mass Specialty Market</p><p>Location: Minneapolis, MN</p><p>We are seeking a result driven and customer-obsessed Sales Analyst to support our Barnes & Noble and Mass Specialty Market business. In this role, your support and expertise will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making and maximizing sales effectiveness to drive a market share and elevate our brands as category thought leaders. You will work closely with our Sales Leadership to provide insights and recommendations that positively affect the business.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>· Drive the development of insights and recommendations on new items, promotional planning, merchandising optimization, and pricing initiatives.</p><p>· Partner with cross functional teams to provide in depth analytical support focused on business solutions in presentation ready formats</p><p>· Conduct product and brand analysis to identify opportunities for growth</p><p>· Leverage IRI/Circana and POS data to deliver market analysis to evaluate comparative performance of our brands</p><p>· Use existing data platforms to create new methodology to analyze business opportunities and risks</p><p>· Full item management responsibility on all items on barnesandnoble.com and other retailer portals</p><p>· Collaborate with team within PSi and customers to share best practice analysis</p><p>· Identify and analyze weekly POS performance and trends to identify risks and opportunities</p><p>· Develop strong rapport with brand partners to support current and future business needs</p><p>· Support inquiries on business outlook, review, and special requests</p><p>· Prepare reporting for Finance to support net revenue management</p><p>· Plan, document, and recap all promotional and marketing program performance</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>· Bachelor's degree in a related field, emphasizing a strong business background</p><p>· Minimum 2 years of experience in insights, sales, or business</p><p>· Strong analytical skills with experience in sales analysis</p><p>· Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills</p><p>· Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</p><p>· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail</p><p>· Entrepreneurial spirit, agility, and resourcefulness</p><p></p>
