Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Remote Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage financial records for various clients. This role offers flexibility to work remotely while ensuring accurate and compliant bookkeeping practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online, supporting clients across nonprofit, corporate, and governmental sectors. This position is perfect for someone currently working as a bookkeeper wanting flexibility to make additional income looking to apply their accounting and QuickBooks expertise in a flexible, part-time capacity. Duties • Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks accounting software • Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data • Prepare journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with GAAP standards • Conduct double-entry bookkeeping and ensure proper debits & credits are recorded • Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial data Experience • Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks • Good understanding of GAAP, public and accounting principles • Experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and financial report writing • Familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, bank reconciliation, and account analysis • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple clients remotely • 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry are desirable • Prior experience in nonprofit or corporate accounting is a plus but not required This role offers the opportunity to work remotely on a flexible schedule while applying comprehensive bookkeeping skills to support diverse organizations.
