This person will work closely with engineers and cross-functional Product Managers to manage sprints, define problem spaces, and ensure seamless coordination across teams. The ideal candidate is both technically proficient and highly organized, with a strong ability to communicate and collaborate.</span></p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold"><span>Responsibilities</span></span></p> <p><span>• Lead, mentor, and support a cross-functional engineering team to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of product features and platform improvements.</span><br><span>• Partner closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to refine requirements, define technical solutions, and manage sprint deliverables.</span><br><span>• Drive the design, implementation, code review, testing, and long-term maintenance of owned services and platform components.</span><br><span>• Take ownership of production stability, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and collaboration with Support teams to ensure fast issue resolution.</span><br><span>• Own and coordinate the full end-to-end release lifecycle, including planning, deployment, rollback strategies, and post-release monitoring.</span><br><span>• Facilitate and actively participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and technical discussions.</span><br><span>• Support hiring activities, including technical interviews, candidate evaluation, onboarding, and mentoring of new team members.</span><br><span>• Promote engineering best practices around scalability, maintainability, performance optimization, observability, and operational excellence.</span><br><span>• Encourage adoption of modern development practices, including AI-assisted tools for improving engineering productivity, automation, troubleshooting, documentation, and delivery efficiency.</span></p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold"><span>Qualifications</span></span></p> <p><span>• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams in fast-paced SaaS or enterprise software environments.</span><br><span>• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, and database architecture/design principles.</span><br><span>• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalable backend architecture, and enterprise application development.</span><br><span>• Experience leading technical delivery across cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, Support, and Engineering.</span><br><span>• Solid understanding of agile software development methodologies and modern SDLC practices.</span><br><span>• Strong communication, mentoring, and people management skills.</span><br><span>• Ability to balance technical leadership with hands-on problem solving and operational ownership.</span><br><span>• Experience working with modern engineering practices, including code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production support.</span><br><span>• Comfortable using modern AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering workflows, automation, and operational efficiency.</span></p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold"><span>Bonus Points If You Have</span></span></p> <p><span>• Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams.</span><br><span>• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native environments.</span><br><span>• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise SaaS platforms.</span><br><span>• Exposure to AI-assisted development, automation, or workflow optimization tools in day-to-day engineering operations.</span></p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold"><span>Incentives</span></span></p> <p><span>• Become part of a team driving global initiatives.</span><br><span>• High-impact role at a growing SaaS company that values personal growth, accountability, and teamwork.</span><br><span>• Collaborative culture focused on innovation and problem-solving.</span><br><span>• 100% remote work environment.</span><br><span>• Competitive compensation package.</span></p> <p><br></p> <p><span>This role is remote, and we are only considering candidates located in Serbia.
