Data entry is a critical function in airline operations — accurate flight records, passenger manifests, and operations data directly affect scheduling, safety, and customer experience. What You Will Do

  • Enter flight schedule data, passenger reservation records, and operational documentation into Delta's internal airline systems
  • Verify and cross-reference entered data against original source records for completeness and accuracy
  • Process manifest updates, schedule revisions, and administrative data corrections as directed by the data team lead
  • Maintain a consistent data entry output rate and achieve the required daily accuracy standard during each shift
  • Submit completed work batches and daily productivity reports to the Delta operations data coordinator on schedule
  • Flag data quality issues, unclear source materials, or system errors to the coordinator promptly for resolution

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED — entry level, no prior airline or data entry experience required
  • Typing speed of 45 or more words per minute with a minimum 98% accuracy standard
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets — data entry tool training provided during onboarding
  • Available for a consistent part-time schedule — a minimum of 20 hours per week with reliable attendance
  • Personal computer with reliable home broadband internet — wired connection preferred for system reliability
  • Detail-oriented, punctual, and self-disciplined in a remote work environment
