Description: As an Online Data Entry Typist at Remote-jobs Inc., your role will involve inputting various data into our system, performing routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers. You’ll be a crucial member of our operations team, ensuring that our systems and databases are always up to date and accurate. Responsibilities: 1. Prepare and sort documents for data entry. 2. Enter data into database software and check to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted. 3. Review and verify data entries. 4. Resolve discrepancies in information. 5. Check completed work for errors or duplicate information before submitting the final product. 6. Maintain and update workflow record regarding work completed and work pending. 7. Assist other administrative staff in filing, xeroxing, typing and other tasks as necessary. Requirements: 1. Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred. 2. Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.). 3. Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices. 4. Basic understanding of databases. 5. Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills. 6. Great attention to detail. 7. Ability to work under stress and to deadlines.
