Millions of people around the world count on our leading brands – including Similac®, PediaSure®, Pedialyte®, Ensure® andGlucerna® – to help get the nutrients they need to live their healthiest life.</p><p></p><p>The Nutrition Sales Representative Primary Care (NSR-PC) is responsible for creating demand for Abbott products and will be considered a strong team player despite working autonomously most of the time. Under the supervision and coaching of the RSM, the NSR-PC will be responsible for sampling & detailing adult and pediatric products to community-based HCPs (GP’s, RN’s, RD’s).</p><p></p><p><b>What You’ll Do </b></p><ul><li><p>Play a key role in ensuring customers are well-stocked with Abbott Nutrition samples and materials and that the customers understand how to use them. </p></li><li><p>Maintain records of sampling and selling activities in real time (use of salesforce.com, pre-post call entries, maintenance of key HCP list, etc.).</p></li><li><p>Prepare his/her territory business plan and ensures proper analysis of territory KPI’s while effectively using dashboards to analyze progress and determine next steps.</p></li><li><p>Ability to sell to health care professionals.</p></li><li><p>Details both adult and pediatric product lines to community-based HCP (GP, RN and RD).</p></li><li><p>Optimizes usage of samples & materials to drive recommendation and trial.  </p></li><li><p>Optimizes call coverage with geopoint and enters all calls details in SFDC in real time.</p></li><li><p>Monitors activities and trends in the field.</p></li><li><p>Keeps SFDC up to date (calendar, accounts, <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">contacts).      </span></p></li><li><p>Analyses pre-post calls to set up objectives with <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">accounts/contacts.  </span></p></li><li><p>Analyses KPI’s to ensure that all territory trends are accounted for.</p></li><li><p>Updates territory business plan (budgets, plan of actions for key customers, key list assessment vs call average and results analysis, <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">etc.)           </span></p></li><li><p>Prepares and presents territory business review to <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">RSM.       </span></p></li><li><p>Keeps the locker in order and manages inventory of samples and promo material.</p></li><li><p>Prepares and presents coverage plan to <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">RSM.              </span></p></li><li><p>Executes locker inventory <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">reconciliation.      </span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree required in business, marketing or science - background in nutrition an asset.</p></li><li><p>1 to 3 years of experience in sales.</p></li><li><p>Strong presentation skills.</p></li><li><p>Aptitude for quickly developing relationships and gaining access to customers.</p></li><li><p>Experience using basic computer software like MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as Outlook and Salesforce.com.</p></li><li><p>Adaptable from a scheduling perspective and has the ability to work autonomously.</p></li><li><p>Strong territory management skills.</p></li><li><p>Maintenance of a valid driver’s license at all times.</p></li><li><p>Must be able to lift, carry and manage car stock and sample delivery to customers.</p></li><li><p>Available for overnight trips, depending on territory could represent up to 10% travel.</p></li><li><p>Mobility and desire to progress within the sales force organization as opportunities arise.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>The annual base salary for this position ranges from $68,250.00 to $79,560.00 CAD.
